Substitutes will learn how to utilize multiple digital applications that have Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) with Canvas. e-learning is part of our instructional ecosystem for the foreseeable future. In this course, substitutes will learn how to create a canvas course with curriculum from the Office of Academics utilizing LTI tools from Newsela.com, Vocabulary.com, Hoonuit, Discovery Education, and Nearpod. Participants will learn how to deliver engaging and interactive instruction using Canvas and Microsoft Teams. This course will empower substitutes by instilling the core competencies needed to create and manage engaging interactive lessons and activities.
